Southeast Missouri Value Added Cattle Producers (SEMOVACP) is a steering committee of independent cow-calf producers, stocker operators and small scale cattle feeders. Value Ag is currently completing a feasibility study and economic analysis of creating a natural cattle feeding value system that offers opportunities to add value to pasture raised calves through source, age, and process verification.Manure Biomass to Energy
This project specifically deals with Cedar Valley Dairy, LLC., a 2300 dairy cow operation located in Iowa. Value Ag is currently investigating which biomass-based (manure) energy conversion technology would be most feasible for this Iowa dairy operation to adopt in an effort to reduce costs, improve environmental compliance, and add value to manure nutrients.
